Data input for Compiere may sometimes have to get through many windows and/or tabs. For example, creating a sales order with 4 line items will have to involve 5 screens. It could be time consuming and confusing.

Keyboard Express is to speed up data entry. By grouping all essential data fields together on the same window, users can input everything on the same screen to avoid unnecessary mouse clicks and keystrokes.

We have already created a couple Keyboard Expresses for Order, Invoice, AP Payment, AR Receipt, GL Journal, Material Receipt and Bank Statement. However, the existing Keyboard Express foundation enables developers to create and alter Keyboard Expresses easily.
